I
think with intuition. The basis of true thinking is intuition.
Indeed, it is not intellect, but intuition which advances
humanity. Intuition tells a man his purpose in life. One
never goes wrong following his feelings. I don’t mean
emotions, I mean feelings, for feelings and intuition are
one.
~ Albert Einstein
This ezine exalts
feminine perception while alerting most men to the same;
as both genders merge passions of life, their complementary
energies hail awesome acclaim.

Kindness is in our power, even when
fondness is not.
~ Samuel Johnson
I
do not know what your destiny will be, but one thing I know:
the only ones among you who will be truly happy are those
who will have sought and found how to serve.
~ Albert Schweitzer
We
know ourselves to be made from this earth. We know this earth
is made from our bodies. For we see ourselves. And we are
nature. We are nature seeing nature. We are nature with a
concept of nature. Nature speaking of nature to nature.
~ Susan Griffin
Human
kindness has never weakened the stamina or softened the fiber
of a free people. A nation does not have to be cruel to be
tough.
~ Franklin D. Roosevelt
Who

As
Mark Twain pointed out over a century ago, the only truly
prominent community that fundamentalists have so far established
in any world, real or imaginary, is hell.

Hello Everyone,
It is great to be alive! Really, it’s true, and I say that
without a casual tongue in cheek manner. When we talk about being
alive, we often neglect ways our bodies explore the very nature
that created them in the first place.
Here are some reasons for feeling grateful about being alive.
You have a brain,
so likely you think most of the time, and |
you breathe, |
you eat, |
you make plans, |
you talk on the phone, |
you run, |
you jump, |
you learn, |
you walk, |
you talk, |
you sit, |
you lift, |
you type, |
you feel giddy, |
you feel warm, |
you feel chilly, |
you feel solemn, |
you make love, |
you love, |
you pray, |
you hope, |
you hug, |
you sing, |
you hum, |
you open stuff, |
you talk some more, |
you feel your heart, |
you read and are
reading this ezine, |
you touch, |
you dance, |
you intuit, |
you comprehend, |
you put pen to paper, |
you make love again, |
you sense again, |
you drive a car, |
you tell a joke, |
you ponder, |
you inquire, |
you smile, |
you laugh, |
you giggle, |
you watch birds
and squirrels, |
you drink soda and
coffee - or not. |
And, then you fall asleep.

Are we amazing animals or
what?
Earthlings’ physical presences are exquisite art forms. Our
bodies and what we choose to do with them might as well be on center
stage performing with the curtain up, and the stage lights on max.
Our bodies alone supply an abundance for which to be grateful.
I think you ought to feel absolutely fascinated with yourself!
Woe to people who easily distract themselves by any of a number
of obsessions as health or family matters; or business, community,
goals, politics, religion, reputation, sex, work; or who cannot
be wholly influenced by their own audacious powers of observation
and intuition.
Consider Staying Awake an intrusive hornet, buzzing around
your head with one idea in mind: To remind you that observing and
endorsing your intuitive capabilities ought to rise to the top of
your priority list for ‘Get to know yourself, please.’
- Do you allow your mind the time to figure out solutions on its
own?
- Are you able to sense elegant, invisible processes must occur
every time you do anything physical, or imagine a solution for
a challenge in your business?
- Can you feel awed by your physical presence on Earth?
- If you’ve said yes to any of those questions, you understand
thinking and feeling are the same thing; we often forget that
energies for thinking and feeling are swirling around and inside
our physical bodies.
Exercise. Compose a one-second thought that can
serve you when you experience an intuitive moment of “Surprise!”
Now here’s a novel idea to think when those surprising intuitive
nudges catch you off guard. Say: ‘Thank you. I am fascinating!’
That’s it. A gentle, loving message to yourself is all you
need as your body continues to perform its genius so you can read
to the finish of this sentence.
I understand in some circles the word savvy is slang, but this
section of Staying Awake exalts our perceptive, compassionate
nature meant for those we have chosen to surround us.
Lots of people are savvy, that is, street smart, and, depending
on whom they talk with, they presume to hide their savvier side
because it implies shrewdness: undermining another for profitable
gains. Through sheer will, intelligence, and mistaken authority
exhibited by results of mental depression, some savvy people learn
how easy it is to control peoples’ choices by projecting insinuations
and illusions as facts.
Do you feel threatened by the darkness and the heaviness in the
paragraph just above? The sorts of savvy strategies expressed above
are not what Staying Awake is about; savvy is about staying
awake to and becoming comfortable with our body’s feelings
and messages as we have learned to intuit their meanings.
Here’s a simple exercise for experimenting
with intentions and listening for our body’s feeling responses
while shopping in the grocery store.
Focus on the heart in your chest while looking at the tomatoes,
and ask, ‘Is that what I want?’ It has been my experience
as I exercise query that the body responds with a slight warmth
in the chest for yes, or a slight heaviness or disgust for no. Sometimes,
I feel no response whatsoever, and I ask again; if still no response,
I move on to the next thing. Simple.
I trust the physical responses; I am no longer amazed with that
exercise, and neither do I take it for granted. As simple as an
awareness of our breathing, we constantly intuit.
If, for whatever reasons, you have repressed your savvy, nurturing
capabilities; if you have repressed your capabilities of quick comprehension
of happenings around you, then consider this an invitation to open
the door, and come out of the closet in whatever way that seems
appropriate for you.
I believe these are historic times for observing humans’
changes of consciousness. As we move further into this decade of
colossal stacking of illusions, compassionate, intelligent, nurturing,
savvy Earthlings will speak their common sense and educated guesses
when nudged by their feelings. Listeners will have already been
prepared for truth, whatever truth happens to be at that moment.
It is boggling when we consider the universal elegance unfolding
global events. We are savvy because we are feeling and witnessing
a sublime revelation of long held illusions’ suppressions.
